You should not need to learn robotics to use a home robot. CarryKin is being designed around familiar requests, familiar objects and predictable behavior.

Designed around the home, not the factory floor.

Slow, predictable movement. A household-scale footprint. Awareness of furniture and obstacles. Designed to stop rather than force its way through an uncertain situation.

Pick

A gentle grip for ordinary things.

The first CarryKin prototypes focus on lightweight objects that are common, useful and relatively safe to handle.

Initial research target: objects up to approximately 500 g.

Carry

Carry first. Reach second.

CarryKin does not need to drive around holding an object at arm’s length. Once an item is retrieved, it can travel securely in the built-in tray.

Right back to you.

The goal is a complete interaction, not a robotics demonstration: ask for something, receive it, continue with your day.
